The female was with a group of friends from San Francisco attending the weekend Emerald Cup cannabis event in Sonoma County, officials said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – A 24-year-old San Francisco woman was found dead Monday morning at a Windsor hotel, where she was staying with a group of friends as they attended the Emerald Cup cannabis event held this weekend at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, officials said.
There was no sign of foul play, and the cause of death is pending an autopsy, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.
"Until further examination it will remain unclear if the female suffered from a medical issue," the agency said "However, apart from her young age there was nothing else suspicious about her death, nor were there any signs of foul play."
