Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Citibank

A San Bruno bank was robbed this morning by a man who showed a teller a note demanding money, police said today.

The robbery occurred around 10 a.m. today at the Citibank at 475 San Mateo Ave., according to Sgt. Dermot Downes.

After the man obtained money from the teller, he left the bank and was last seen driving east on Sylvan Avenue in a white two-door vehicle, possibly a Hyundai.

The suspect was described as a black man in his 20s, 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing a lime green hooded sweatshirt with a skeletal design on the front, and a black baseball hat.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 650-616-7100.
