Ask The Universal Channel® talking board is one of the more modern adaptations of the talking boards on display at the San Francisco Airport historical talking board exhibit. This is the story of how Ask The Universal Channel® came about, as told by the person chosen by Spirits from another realm to create it.

In 1994, just five years after creating Ask The Universal Channel® talking board, one of Linda Deir’s Spirit Guide Angels materialized right in front of her when she had a camera in hand. Having seen them since she was baby, this was the first time they allowed her to take their photograph. When she asked them why, her Spirit Guide Angel said, “We appeared so the world could believe," “You are going to write a book about your relationship with us since you were a little girl.” Linda wrote the book 20 years later. Now seeing is believing - on the front cover of her book, GUIDED.

From early childhood, Linda experienced something most of us miss – she realized she was being “guided.” Now, after a lifetime of being guided, in her book, GUIDED, she shares what she learned, and most importantly, how she learned it.

Just 20 months old, baby Linda knew her life was in danger. She couldn't remember her mother ever holding her; only beating her for reasons her young mind was unable to comprehend. Unloved, abused and out of options, she shook the gate latch until it opened and ran away from home.

Two policemen found her miles from home, barefoot, in diapers, running down the median of a busy California expressway. When asked where she was going, she answered, "I'm going to find my daddy, something's wrong with mommy!"

Only after bribing her with candy did she point out how to get back to her house where her mother pretended to be grateful she was returned home. However, when the police were assured she was safe, they left and her mother beat her unconscious.

Waking up on the floor unable to walk, she found herself right back in the hell she had tried to escape from. Now, completely out of options, she cried out loud for help. To her surprise, they answered. They all surrounded her! She felt loved and safe for the first time in her life. Linda no longer felt like a victim. They told her, "Life will get better for you as you get older... if you can make it through childhood," a prophecy - an eerie warning.

This is the story of Ask The Universal Channel® talking board, how it all began in December of 1988 when Linda Deir was invited to dinner at the home of her dream teacher at that time. She and her channeling friend were told by the guides they channeled, using the Ouija board, to bring Linda into a session so Linda’s Spirit Guide Angels could speak directly to her. They told these two operators of the talking board to arrange this meeting with Linda immediately. They said that this was urgent. In fact, so urgent that they told these women there would be no more access to them until this arrangement took place.

They needed her to create and produce a talking board that opens the mind, not one that causes fear and caution. The History of the Talking Board

They told her they needed this new board as a way to reach humanity on a higher level to guide them through the challenging times to come. They wanted this new talking board to be a teaching tool to use to talk with their own Spirit Guide Angels. They insisted on Linda teaching people to use this new talking board correctly. They told Linda they would access her in her dreams to co-create this talking board. Originally named Universal Channel, this talking board is now a trademarked product of Channeled Readings, LLC known as Ask The Universal Channel®.

Following this first channeling session, Linda’s guides started coming to her in her dreams defining the new talking board. Linda already had a life-long relationship with her guides, was an architectural home designer, and a seasoned business woman. She was well qualified to see this project through and her spirit guide angels knew it.
