Cox Employees Join Ocean Conservancy to Clean Up Doheny State Beach

In celebration of National Oceans Month, and just in time for summer beach camping season, Cox Enterprises’ employees and Ocean Conservancy joined forces for a shore cleanup at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California on Friday, June 27, 2014.

Doheny State Beach is one of California's most popular state beaches and attracts nearly 1 million visitors each year.

More than 200 volunteers from Cox EnterprisesAutoTrader.com, Cox Communications, Kelley Blue Book and Manheim properties in Southern California cleaned up more than 650 pounds of litter from this this popular beach and camping spot.

In 2007, Cox Enterprises created its national Cox Conserves sustainability program, which focuses on reducing waste and energy consumption, conserving water, and encouraging eco-friendly practices throughout its company and community.
