Huge LEGO Show This Month In San Leandro

Local church hosts an enormous display open to the public

Huge LEGO Show This Month In San Leandro

The Bay Area Family Church in San Leandro located at 2305 Washington Avenue, will host a large LEGO building block show open to the public now until September 2.

LEGO builders from throughout the Bay Area have created, at the church, what its organizers are describing as a "mini-land made out of LEGOs" . On display are skyscrapers, castles, trains, robotics and much more created from LEGOs.

Those visiting can try their hand at building their own LEGO creations, take pictures of the displays, play interactive robotic games and enjoy other activities,

The show is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. It is on the second floor of the building.

General admission is $4 (Cash only) and children under age 2 are admitted free. (Be aware, however that no strollers are allowed.)

LEGOs will be available for purchase at the show.

The show's organizers note that "LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse this event."
