      Why Go: The Second Annual Mormon Helping Hands Day of Service will be held throughout California on April 30th, 2011.  Local members of the Mormon Church will gather to clean Coyote Point and the Bay Trail in San Mateo County.  Other community service projects will simultaneously be taking place throughout the state of California.

        Why Go: The 467-acre preserve includes grasslands, chaparral, coastal scrub regions, foothill woodlands and year-round seeps and springs offering hundreds of plant varieties, many animal habitats and over 70 resident and migratory birds.

        Why Go: Bay Area residents can meet the "little white fluffy dogs" that are hard to find in local shelters. Poodles, bichons, maltese, shih tzus,and mixes are available every Saturday. The dogs are young, active, and submissive.
