County: Marin Elections Department 'Makes Voting Convenient'
Officials say they've opened up a Saturday voting option on June 4.
SAN RAFAEL, CA– The Marin County Elections Department will be open on Saturday, June 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to offer in-person voting for the Presidential Primary Election plus local races and measures. Voters may also cast ballots in person during regular weekday hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or on Election Day, June 7, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Do you vote by mail? Your ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day and received by the Elections Department within three days. Registrar of Voters Lynda Roberts encourages voters to mail ballots at least five to seven business days before the election if possible, or return them to any polling place in Marin from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
A red, white and blue secure ballot box is stationed at the main entrance to the Marin Civic County Center through 8 p.m. Election Day. The main entrance is on Peter Behr Drive under the Civic Center’s south archway.
