Grady Ranch supporters are expected to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday.

Grady Ranch Supporters Expected at Supes Meeting

Marin County Supervisor Judy Arnold wrote a letter to Grady Ranch supporters last week, encouraging them to attend the Tuesday meeting.

The letter said:

I have heard from many of you expressing your concern and frustration at the few individuals in Lucas Valley Estates that have caused George Lucas to believe that they will continue to delay his project and prevent him from his plans of a digital film operation.

There has been a suggestion that individuals who support the project come to Open Time at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, April 17 at 10:00am to state your support publicly so that George can see the webcast.

I am inviting you to come and do just that.

The Lucas Valley Estates Homeowners Association, after the , said in a letter that they don't oppose the project.

"We have raised concerns about public safety, environmental compliance and adherence to zoning regulations," the letter said. "We have continued to publicly suggest more well-suited locations in Marin County that could better benefit the local economy."

Tuesday's meeting begins at 10 a.m. in Romm 330 at the Marin Civic Center.
