Fire Burns Carport, Vehicle In Neighboring Boulder Creek
BREAKING: Three videos show intensity of blaze.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA – A fire at a Boulder Creek home Saturday evening burned a carport and at least one vehicle, according to fire officials.
The blaze was reported at around 7:23 p.m. at 640 Middleton Drive, a fire dispatcher said.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw the carport was on fire, and were able to keep it from spreading to the home.

Firefighters were able to eventually extinguish the fire, but remained on scene until about 10:30 p.m., according to the dispatcher.
Fire officials believe the fire started in the carport.

The residents, a family of five, were home at the time and escaped without injury, fire officials said.
The cause for the fire remains under investigation.
