Firefighters have contained a structure fire that destroyed a shed and damaged two residential buildings this morning in Santa Cruz.
Firefighters responded at 1:42 a.m. to a report of a structure
fire at a residence in the 100 block of Park Place and found a shed fully
engulfed in flames and two apartment buildings partially on fire, according
to the Santa Cruz Fire Department.
Firefighters said one of the homes had mainly exterior damage, but
a second home had significant interior damage from the fire.
