Before undergoing , the Fairmont Miramar and Hotel will reinvent one of its freestanding cottages with help from Los Angeles event producer Brent Bolthouse, who opened Trousdale, Hyde and Foxtail.
Private gatherings and special evening events will kick off The Bungalow’s debut this summer, followed by events like industry soirees, intimate birthday celebrations and fireside acoustic music sets.
An exclusive menu by Chef Ray Garcia’s will accompany the new space, designed by Studio Collective to look like a seaside cottage.
"My dream of a beachfront hideaway has come true with The Bungalow," Bolthouse said in a press release.
During the 1920s the Miramar was the city's most popular hotel, with apartments built for long-term guests, Greta Garbo being among the first to move in. Over the years, the Miramar became a destination for many celebrities and political figures.
