Get the Scoop on the City's Summer Camps

Last weekend’s springtime heat wave brings to mind that summer is just around the corner.  Time to start planning for the kids’ summer vacation!  The City of Santa Monica has camps for just about everything kids enjoy - from beach sports to theater, dance, art, soccer and general sports & games.  You can learn more and meet the instructors at a Youth Summer Camps Fair to be held on Saturday, March 22nd   from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Gym, 1401 Olympic Blvd (Parking entrance on 14th St).

The event will feature all that the City has to offer for youth ages 2- 18  this summer, including Santa Monica Sports Experience, Camp Santa Monica, award winning Rosie’s Girls, Police Activities League, and Virginia Avenue Park. The City’s Community Classes & Camps Office will showcase their line-up of specialty camps which include beach volleyball, tennis, soccer,  dance & culture, and arts.

All parents and caregivers looking to plan ahead for their child’s fun and rewarding summer break are encouraged to attend this fair.

Attendance and parking are free. Advance registration is not required.

Summer Registration begins April 30th for Santa Monica residents (online registration only) and on May 7th for Non-residents and by mail or in-person. Summer Camps run from Wednesday, June 11th to Wednesday, August 20th.
