Man in Critical Condition After Bus Stop Assault

A man suffered serious injuries to the head after being assaulted while sitting on the bus bench at Wilshire Boulevard and Seventh Street on Oct. 28, said Friday afternoon. Police are still seeking a man who may have been responsible for the assault.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, told police that, while he was sitting on the bench, he was approached from behind by someone who was holding a large stone or rock.
