Plane Crash Landed at Santa Monica Airport
The pilot, the only person on board, got out safely. The plane lost power on landing, according to media reports.

SANTA MONICA (CNS) - A private airplane crashed after veering slightly off a runway at Santa Monica Airport on Sunday, firefighters said. No injuries were reported.
It happened at 1:34 p.m., Santa Monica Fire Capt. Dale Hallock said.
The single engine private aircraft was found by responding firefighters to have gone off to the east of the runway's end, he said.

The pilot, the only person on the plane, managed to get out safely and was uninjured, Hallock said.
The plane lost power during landing, NBC4 reported.

Fire crews had cleared the scene by 2:30 p.m, Hallock said.
