Sebastian LaRue, a standout wide-receiver from Santa Monica High School, has committed to USC, ESPN reported Friday

With explosive speed, soft hands and great field vision, LaRue was ranked among ESPN's exclusive list of Top 150 recruits in the country. As a junior he was named first team All-Ocean League and first team All-CIF.

According to ESPN, he earned an offer from the Trojans after his performance at the university’s recent skills position camp.

LaRue's decision to commit came after making an unofficial visit to Washington State last week, one of reportedly 20 schools that sent him offer letters. He has called all of the offers an "honor and a blessing."

"That visit [to Washington State] was me weighing my options," LaRue told ESPN. "In a sense, I always knew I wanted to be at USC, but I wanted to make sure it was right fit."
