Parkway Plaza Possible Carousel Close To Reality
A possible 1926 Allan Herschell carousel is returning to Parkway Plaza.
EL CAJON -- In Summer 2016, a possible new carousel is returning to Parkway Plaza.
It will be a 1926 Allan Herschell carousel, it will replace the double-decker carousel which was removed on January 27, 2016.
The new historic carousel will be owned by the Edgar and Virginia Poe Foundation, and it will be called Poe’s Carousel, named for Edgar Manson Poe Jr., a former optometrist at Sear’s in the Parkway Plaza Mall.
