Traffic Alert: Sinkhole in Santee Expected to Cause Delays
BREAKING: The sinkhole is on West Hills Parkway near State Route 52 in Santee.
SANTEE, CA – Residents should expect traffic delays after a sinkhole damaged part of a road Thursday in Santee.
The sinkhole is on West Hills Parkway near State Route 52. According to the city of Santee, the sinkhole was caused when a 48-inch diameter metal storm drain failed.
City officials said a temporary repair is underway, but work on a long-term fix will likely impact traffic in the area for an extended period.
