VIDEO: Cutbacks Called Dangerous to Seniors

People 'will starve to death' if the scheduled cutbacks are made in the Adult Day Health Care program next month, says Sherry Revord, senior center director in Sherman Oaks.

In this video interview with Patch Editor Doug Kriegel, Sherry Revord, director of the Sherman Oaks/East Valley Adult Center in Sherman Oaks, says the planned reductions in the state-funded Adult Day Health Care program would put seniors' lives in jeopardy. She calls the cuts a false economy that could end up forcing many seniors into nursing homes, costing the state more money than the present program.
