Introducing Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Watch Group V5 Watch

Let me introduce you to the neighborhood watch group I run with my partner, Randi Lieberman.  It's V5 Watch Sherman Oaks, and it's from Ventura Boulevard to Valley Vista and Vitello's (Woodman) to Casa Vega (Fulton.)  That's where the 5 Vs come from.  

It's a newer group, and this year we've had two very succesful meetings with LAPD, LAFD, and memebrs of Tom LaBonge's office. We are planning one more before the end of the year with SLO Officer Ron Carter of LAPD. We are also sponsoring a toxic waste pick up in early October and also plan on promoting the Dixie Canyon School Pumpkin Fair in late October.  Also look for our pumpkin distribution later this month to welcome fall - hopefully it will stop being 90 degrees soon so we can break out that fall wardrobe! Enough

We are unique as a watch group goes, as we also include many of the local merchants, and plan to include a lot more. There's also a monthly newsletter with discount coupons for our members.
