Coyote Sighting.

Coyote sighting in Sherman Oaks Monday morning.

Coyote Sighting.

A coyote was reported seen near the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Longridge Avenue at 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning August 1.

The same person who spotted a coyote at this location last week, claims to have been the same one heading down the street early in the morning.

"He was headed for the hills," she said.

If you see coyotes in Sherman Oaks please let us know. Two cats were reportedly attacked and killed by Coyotes near the intersection of Tyrone Avenue and Collins Street, in the past two weeks.

The coyotes who attacked on Collins Street were believed to have come from the grassland of the Sepulveda Basin. However, coyotes seen near Ventura Boulevard are believed to have come down from the Sherman Oaks hills.
