Funds for bike paths in Depot Park and Napa Road, and possible action relating to California Mayors United Against Proposition 8.

City Council Agenda for April 1 in Sonoma

The Sonoma City Council will be holding their regular twice-monthly City Council meeting on Monday, April 1, at the Community Meeting Room, 177 First Street West.

On the agenda are presentation of the Cultural and Fine Arts Commission’s 2013 Student Creative Arts Award to Ms. Maya Smoot, recognition of Robert Wentworth’s service on the Mobilehome Park Rental Review Board, and a proclamation in support of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

The council will also be asked by Associate City Planner Atkins to adopt a resolution authorizing a TDA Article 3 grant application for bicycle improvements for Depot Park bike path maintenance and Napa Road Class 2 bicycle lanes.

In addition, Mayor Ken Brown has asked the council to discuss, consider and take possible action relating to support for California Mayors United Against Proposition 8.

The meeting will be called to order at 6 p.m. The agenda is attached to this article.
