The San Francisco 49ers advanced to the second round of the National Football league playoffs after beating the Green Bay Packers 23-20 with a dramatic  5-minute game ending drive that resulted in a  33-yard Phil Dawson field goal as time ran out on the game clock and the Packers season.

The 49ers  next stop in the playoffs is  Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina where they will play the 12-4 Carolina Panthers who are led by quarterback  Cam Newton.  Kickoff is scheduled for 10 a.m. PST.  The game will be broadcast on Fox and for those who can’t see it live you can hear the game on television you can listen live on the radio on  KNBR AM 680 or affiliates throughout northern California.

The 49ers could play one last game at the Stick if they beat Carolina and the New Orleans Saints defeat the number one seeded Seattle Seahawks on January 11 in Seattle.
