Sylvia Cho, 56, of Pasadena, died at the scene of the shooting, reported Thursday in the 11000 block of South Alameda Street, on the border with Watts.

A woman shot dead in her own Lynwood liquor store during a robbery was identified Friday as a 56-year-old Pasadena woman.

Sylvia Cho died at the scene of the shooting, reported about 6 p.m. Thursday in the 11000 block of South Alameda Street, on the border with Watts, according to Los Angeles sheriff's Deputy Kim Manatt.

She owned the store with her husband.
