Dogs Help Vets With "Invisible Wounds"

A small group of Bay Area veterans went to a camp near Yosemite last weekend to participate in training exercises with their newly matched service dogs.

“She wakes me up from my nightmares,” said George Bravo, a Marine veteran from South San Francisco about his dog, Macy, the Union Democrat reported.

The dogs were from Operation Freedom Paws, a Gilroy-based organization that provides dogs to help veterans with conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder.
