Fight Between Students Prompts Evacuation of City College of San Francisco Library
Reports of a gunman on campus were unfounded, according to school officials.
A fight between two students Tuesday morning prompted an evacuation of the library at the City College of San Francisco campus. Multiple officers responded to the library. Following the incident, several students posted via social about a possible gunman on campus. Soon after, school officials dismissed those reports via Facebook.
βA fight between two students on campus resulted in our police force responding right away and the library being evacuated. No one is injured and the conflict is under control. Reports of an active shooter on campus are false. We will update frequently with more news.β
According to Larry Kamer a media relations consultant working with the college, the situation is stabilized and rumors of a shooting were false.

Police officials have not yet been reached for comment. School officials said the library reopened by 11:45 a.m.
