Two people were rescued from an overturned boat in San Francisco Bay east of San Francisco International Airport this afternoon, according to a South San Francisco fire official.

The boat, a 21-foot sailboat, was reported overturned around 4:30 p.m., according to Battalion Chief Jess Magallanes.
