Firefighters Douse Thanksgiving House Fire
A fire broke out at an vacant building early Thanksgiving morning.

Firefighters extinguished a small storage fire inside a vacant residential building in North Hollywood this morning, a fire department spokeswoman said.
The fire inside this one-story building at 14254 Vanowen St. was reported at 6:30 a.m., according to fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The department dispatched 27 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in 20 minutes, Stewart said. No one was in the building at the time of the fire, she said.

There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Stewart said.
