Who did you vote for?
Patch got out to the polls yesterday to talk to voters. Judging from the comments below, this race is definitely too close to call.
Mike, Customer Service - I voted passionately for Mitt Romney, as well as typically straight Republican for the other candidates on the ballot because I believe in lower taxes, smaller government, strong military and I am an advocate of business, especially small to medium size business.
Gloria, Retired - I voted for Obama, again, because he isn't being given a fair shake by Congress. Some Republicans have gone on National T.V. and said "I want Obama to fail". They don't even try to work with him. Obama works for the people. He is trying to level the playing field.
Ken - I voted for Romney. For me it’s simple. Our country is worse off than it was four years ago, and I know if he is re-elected things will get worse.
Joe, Small Business Owner - I voted for Romney. I have more confidence in his ability to turn the economy around. I saw first-hand how he saved the Salt Lake Olympics to make it one of the most successful in history. I’ve also seen his proven track record in business and how he was able to work across the aisle in Massachusetts to get things done.
Kevin, First Time Voter - I voted early for Romney. I voted for him because he knows how to run businesses which is how our country needs to be run in order to get out of our mess.
Lawrence, Police Officer - I voted Republican, but not because of Romney. I feel that our nation needs to start putting back together what makes this nation. That means businesses, jobs, and responsible people who take care of their families and build productive households and children.
Jenny - Mitt Romney. I believe he supports and understands family values.
Tracy, Retired Consultant - I voted for Obama because the economy is on a slow, yet steady, and progressive move towards recovery.
Ashley, College Student, First time Voter - I voted for Obama because he has viewpoints on different issues that I agree with such as education and healthcare. I’m not pro-abortion but to take away abortion is taking away someone’s own personal choice. I am pro-choice. As a college student I know what it’s like to strive for higher education to better myself and have to deal with financial struggles. Romney believes sutdents should only receive the amount of education they can afford.
Ali, Mom - I voted for President Obama because he is more concerned with the middle class then Romney.Danielle, State Worker-Obama-he needs more time to accomplish what he set out to do.
Danielle, State Worker - Obama-he needs more time to accomplish what he set out to do.
Chris, Public Servant - It was a tough decision, but I voted for Obama. I've been torn because I believe in just as many conservative views as I do liberal but I also believe in giving someone a second chance-Bush got one.
