Car Fire Sends Smoke Through Interstate 15 Area in Temecula

A blue Volvo caught fire in Temecula this weekend, the California Highway Patrol said.

The fire was reported at 2:48 p.m. Saturday on northbound Interstate 15 past Mission Road.

The car was clouded in smoke and flames were emanating from the undercarriage and engine, the Highway Patrol said.

By 3:05, the fire was put out and a tow truck was on its way.
