Low clouds and on and off wet weather will continue through Sunday in the Temecula Valley and the region.

A low pressure trough is parked off the west coast and will deepen through Monday.

Scattered showers are possible through Sunday afternoon, followed by drizzle later. Additional precipitation amounts should be less than an inch. After a partly cloudy day Monday, a weak cold front will lead to a chance of light rain on Tuesday.

From Wednesday on, warmer weather is expected to prevail. Temperatures will bounce back into the 80s by Friday, and offshore flow is expected next weekend.

Sunday: Low clouds, drizzle and fog, becoming partly cloudy. 40 percent chance of scattered showers in the morning, then a 30 percent chance of scattered showers in the afternoon. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph, high near 68 degrees.

Sunday night: Low clouds. 20 percent chance of showers, then drizzle after midnight; low around 55 degrees.

Monday: Low clouds and drizzle, becoming partly sunny. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, high of about 70 degrees; Monday night: Partly cloudy, then low clouds developing, low near 53 degrees.

Tuesday: Cloudy, becoming partly cloudy. A slight chance of rain, high around 69 degrees; Tuesday night: Low clouds and patchy fog developing, low of about 52 degrees.
