An electrical fire damaged a plating business in Temecula early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responding to a 3:30 a.m. alarm at Opti-Forms Inc., a nickel- and optical-coating business at 42310 Winchester Road, reported smoke coming from the roof, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

Within 30 minutes, the fire was put out, she said.
