Temecula Teen Found Murdered, Winchester Teen Arrested

Sheriff's officials say a 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a deadly attack in Temecula.

TEMECULA, CA- Riverside County sheriff’s officials are investigating the death of a Temecula man who was found with a ”fatal wound” at a local apartment complex this week.

According to sheriff’s Sgt. Rob Thompson, deputies were first called to the Acacia Apartments at 29605 Solana Way around 6 a.m. on Tuesday after getting word of an unconscious male.

“Upon arrival, officers found a male victim and summoned medical attention,” Thompson said. “The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Homicide investigators were called out and later linked a 19-year-old woman, identified as Cheyenne Armstrong of Winchester, to the crime. According to Sgt. Thompson, Armstrong had gotten into some sort of disagreement with the victim around 2 a.m. in the apartment complex’s parking lot.

“During the disagreement, Cheyenne used a weapon to deliver a fatal wound,” he said. “Cheyenne was booked at the Southwest Detention Center for homicide.”

The victim has since been identified as 19-year-old Joseph O’Donnell of Temecula, according to coroner’s reports.
