Temecula Wants You to Share Your #ShopSmallTemecula Selfies This Small Business Saturday

Getting some holiday shopping done this weekend? Temecula wants you to show your local pride!

TEMECULA, CA – The City of Temecula is kicking off a Shop Small Campaign and is proud to promote

participation in Small Business Saturday.

Set for Saturday, November 26th, Small Business Saturday was introduced by American Express in 2010. The effort is dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday and now the Saturday after Thanksgiving is recognized as Small Business Saturday, the day we celebrate the Shop Small movement to drive shoppers to local merchants across the U.S.

As part of this effort, City of Temecula’s Office of Economic Development wants to see your #ShopSmallTemecula selfie. Post a selfie either on Facebook on Instagram while shopping at your favorite Temecula Business on Saturday November 26th using #ShopSmallTemecula and tagging the City of
Temecula.

The City will select two winners from this campaign to each receive a gift basket filled with Temecula swag.

The purpose of this campaign is to support the local businesses that create jobs, boost the economy- all which help to sustain Temecula’s high quality of life.

Since its inception, Small Business Saturday has served as the ceremonial kickoff to the busy holiday shopping season for small (and large) businesses. Just as important, it has driven high visibility and
appreciation for the unique role that small businesses play in local communities. For more information contact Christine Damko with the City of Temecula at christine.damko@cityoftemecula.org or 951-693-3952.
