Storms Headed Our Way, Five Days Of Rain in the Forecast

Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

A series of storms is expected to hit the Bay Area this week.

Rain is forecasted to start early Wednesday with at least showers every day through Sunday.

Breezy conditions are also expected on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night.

High temperatures are expected to reach only the mid-60s.

The storms might dampen some of the holiday activities planned around Walnut Creek.

The ice rink in Civic Park has a tent-like covering, but you might get wet walking to and from the facility.

It might also rain on the annual Parade of Lights, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday with Santa lighting up the Christmas tree.

The storms might also make holiday shopping a little more challenging.
