In March 2012, Napa County Sheriff’s Detectives received information that between January 2011 and February 2012, a suspect met two separate 14-year-old Napa boys through social networking web sites. Information led Detectives to a third victim, who was 15 years old and lived in Elk Grove, at the time of (a) year-long sexual relationship that occurred in 2010.

The suspect was known by three different names: Ashton Nasif, Justin Hicks, and his real name, Justin Noel Lopez, 26 years old, out of Aptos, California. The suspect told victims that he was much younger than his 26 years.

On April 4, 2012 at 8:15 am, Napa Sheriff’s Office Detectives went to Aptos and arrested Lopez at his residence. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Department of Corrections.

Lopez was booked on multiple counts of several felonies, including:

Lewd Act with a Child

Sodomy

Investigators said they believe there may be more victims who have not come forward yet, according to the press release. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Napa County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau at (707) 253-4591.
