Police Still In Search Of A Man For Indecent Exposure

On Friday just around 3 p.m., a group of three women were walking in the area of Oliviera Loop and Chappell Road in Watsonville when a suspicious looking man in a black Toyota sedan approached them.

According to Sgt. Morgan Chappell, the man in the Toyota pulled over near the group of victims and began masturbating in full view of the females. One of the victims was an adult and the other two were juveniles.

The women fled the area but were followed and approached by the suspect a second time. However, the victims were able to run into a home in the area where they called and gave police a description of the suspect.

The suspect is a white male in his late 20's to early 30's, with blonde or light brown hair and a beard and was described as being chubby, according to Sgt. Chappell.

The suspect’s car described in the incident was a stock 2006 - 2008 black Toyota Camry or Corolla four door with a gold metal embalm and a possible partial California license plate number: 5K_ _ _ _ _.

There was at least one other similar incident in Santa Cruz County that involved a suspect that fit the description from Friday afternoon said Sgt. Chappell.

Anyone with information regarding this case is strongly encouraged to call the Watsonville Police Department Crime Tip line at (831) 728-3544 or the Department Investigation Bureau at (832) 768-3352.
