Watsonville Burglary Suspects Caught Escaping From Phone Store
Two men were arrested early Tuesday morning after officers responded to a burglary alarm at a store in Watsonville, according to police.
WATSONVILLE - Two men were arrested early Tuesday morning after officers responded to a burglary alarm at a store in Watsonville, according to police.
Police said officers responded to alarms at 4:51 a.m. at a Metro PCS store located at 540 Main St. and setup a perimeter in the area.
According to police two suspects, Julio Garcia, 21, and Rudy Garcia, 18, ran out of the store through the shattered front door.

Police said Guzman immediately surrendered to police at the scene, however Garcia fled on foot before being caught on East Fifth Street.
Officers on scene located tools used in the burglary, which included a flashlight and a small sledgehammer.

Both Garcia and Guzman were arrested and later transported to county jail where they were booked on suspicion of burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Garcia was additionally booked on suspicion of resisting arrest.
