1 Killed in WeHo Single Car Crash [UPDATED]
The crash occurred about 4:20 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard near San Vicente Boulevard. Sunset is expected to be closed until noon.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA - One person died Thursday in a single-car crash in West Hollywood that left a trail of destruction along Sunset Boulevard, which is expected to remain closed until Thursday afternoon.
The car, a Nissan Altima, was being driven westbound on Sunset when the driver somehow lost control, jumped the curb, plowed through a storefront construction area, snapped a tree in half and knocked over a parking meter before overturning and slamming roof-first into a utility pole.
The crash occurred about 4:20 a.m. on Sunset near San Vicente Boulevard, according to the sheriff's department.

Information was not immediately available on the age and gender of the fatally injured person.
Sunset Boulevard was closed San Vicente Boulevard and Holloway Drive while an investigation was conducted, and sheriff's officials said the stretch would likely remain closed until after noon..
