Borelli Claims Support from Female Voters

West Hollywood City Council candidate Sam Borelli announced Tuesday that he's picked up an increasing number of endorsements from female Weho residents.

His campaign published the following sentiments from recent endorsers:

“I’m supporting Sam Borelli because it is time for the next generation of leaders in West Hollywood and Sam has proven his dedication to all residents of our community,” said Reinita G. Martinez, member of the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board. “His service on the Public Safety Commission has included unwavering advocacy against, and greater education about, domestic violence in our community, an issue that I am most passionate about."

"I am proudly endorsing Sam Borelli for West Hollywood City Council because he authentically cares about the well being of our city and all of her constituents," said Sue Sexton, member of the West Hollywood Lesbian & Gay Advisory Board. "He has worked passionately on programs ranging from youth issues to senior issues. He listens to the needs of the community and is inclusive of those various voices in his work."

“Sam understands the need for residents and the business community to work together for the betterment of all West Hollywood,” said Karen Kuo Chou, a West Hollywood Elementary School parent who sits on several local boards. “Working with Sam on The Avenues Streetscape group showed that Sam seeks to include and represent all aspects of our city.”

“They say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. But if it needs improving, improve it," said Rita White, a 30-year West Hollywood resident and Host at the Palms Bar. “Sam Borelli can and will improve West Hollywood.”

Borelli is one of nine candidates in this year's election, which takes place March 5.
