It’s hot out there. Not to worry—a juice bar near you is offering free juices and smoothies on Friday, March 15.

Nékter, a new but fast-growing chain of natural, raw and vegan juices, is celebrating the grand opening of its second store in the Los Angeles area—and the 10th in Southern California—by giving away free drinks from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Located at 8951 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood, the store will also give away $25 gift cards to the first 50 customers.

Nékter sells green juices (think spinach, celery, broccoli), vegan smoothies, acai bowls and cold-pressed juice bottles. The company's West Hollywood location opened Feb. 26 and plans are underway for another store in Westwood.

Nékter launched its first juice bar in Orange County in 2010. Following a steady expansion in the region, where it has seven stores, the company opened a store in Santa Monica about three months ago, its first in Los Angeles county.

“West Hollywood is a very vibrant city and a great location for us,” the company’s co-founder and co-owner Steve Schulze said in a recent statement. “Juicing has become extremely popular in recent years and West Hollywood residents have their pulse on wellness and nutrition.”

Besides juices and smoothies, the company offers a “Nékter Cleanse” regimen of cold-pressed fruits and vegetables designed to flush the body of harmful toxins.

Those looking to lose some serious weight—or for a thorough body cleansing—can drink up to six bottles of cold-pressed juices and vegetables derived from a total of 15 pounds of produce and priced at $50. Click here for more information.
