Body Found In Boulder Drainage Canal

BOULDER, CO — A body was found in a drainage canal Friday near Valmont City Park in Boulder, police said. A crew was cleaning the canal in the 5000 block of Valmont Road just after 10 a.m. when the body was found partially submerged, according to the Boulder Police Department.

So far, the body hasn't been identified in connection with any missing people in the area, police said.

BPD has not confirmed whether they consider the death suspicious, but are investigating.
