Man Found Dead Near 1st Flatiron, Park Closed: Boulder Sheriff
No foul play is suspected, the sheriff's office said. The rock formation was closed to climbers while the death investigation took place.

BOULDER, CO – Hikers near the First Flatiron outside Boulder came upon the body of a 32-year-old man early Thursday morning, the Boulder Sheriff's Office reported. Hikers contacted the sheriff's office around 7 a.m. to report the body, which was found near Chautauqua Park northwest of the rock formation.
The Boulder County Open Space and Mountain Parks agency closed off the First Flatiron to climbers while the death investigation took place, the sheriff's office reported.
The sheriff's office did not identify the man, saying the County Coroner's office would do so when his next-of-kin had been notified.
