Car Crashes Into Cherry Creek In Denver

A vehicle veered off the road into Cherry Creek, officials said.

DENVER, CO — An SUV crashed into Cherry Creek Thursday morning in Denver, fire officials said. The vehicle's driver sustained minor injuries.

The SUV crashed into the creek near West Colfax and Speer Boulevard, the Denver Fire Department said.

The driver was treated by Denver Health Paramedics. It's unclear whether anyone else was in the vehicle.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews worked to remove the SUV from the creek.
