Anonymous Tip Leads to Drug Bust in Fairfield: Report

Fairfield Police set up surveillance after receiving the tip and arrested the two suspected drug dealers from Bridgeport and their customer.

FAIRFIELD, CT — An anonymous tip led to the arrest of two suspected drug dealers from Bridgeport and their customer last Friday evening on Roselle Street in Fairfield, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports police set up surveillance in the area and observed a “hand-to-hand” transaction between a pedestrian and a man in a car and arrested the suspected buyer, 20-year-old Nicholas Bandanza, of Roselle Street.

Police also arrested the driver, Javier Rodriguez, 28, and the passenger, Christian Rodriguez, 22, both Bridgeport residents, according to the Citizen.

The Citizen reports police found both men to be in possession of marijuana and also allegedly found heroin in Bandanza’s pocket.
