BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man with connections to the Bridgeport area was killed after being run over by a SUV Wednesday, according to police.
Derek Franklin, 48, collapses in the street around 10 p.m. from an apparent medical incident, according to the Connecticut Post. Nearby people rushed to help him.
A woman driving a SUV noticed the people trying to assist Franklin, but didn't see Franklin on the street. Firefighters freed Franklin within minutes, but he succumbed to his injuries.
