On Saturday, September 6, the Brookfield Historical Society will honor the memory of four victims with local ties to Brookfield who died during the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center. There will be a memorial display and personal testimonials by Brookfield first responders. Recorded acts of courage will be shared as well.
This September marks the 13th anniversary of the tragic event. Local residents are encouraged to attend this event to remember our local heroes. The memorial display will be on view at the Brookfield Museum located at 165 Whisconier Road, Brookfield Center at the intersection of Route 25 and 133.
