Local Youth Donates Birthday Money to Connecticut Humane Society

Local Youth Donates Birthday Money to Connecticut Humane Society
For the third year in a row, Greyson Morgan has given up birthday gifts in favor of supporting his favorite animal welfare charity, the Connecticut Humane Society. When he turned 5 years old, he decided that he would start asking his birthday guests to give the gift of life to pets in need rather than giving him a birthday present. The tradition has continued for three years. On Wednesday, Greyson visited the shelter in Newington and made his annual gift. This year, it was $300. That will buy alot of kibble for the shelter pets.

The Connecticut Humane Society relies on the support of the community to continue our mission. We are extremely grateful for the generosity that Greyson has shown our organization for the past three years. He is proof that you are never too young...or too old...to take a stand and support a cause that you believe in. THANK YOU Greyson!
