Body Found At Park In Cheshire: Police
The park was temporarily closed after the body was found, according to police.
CHESHIRE, CT — A body was found at a park in Cheshire early Thursday morning, according to police.
Cheshire police received a call from the Meriden Police Department around 2:30 a.m. requesting a well-being check at Quinnipiac Park, also called the Quinnipiac Recreation Area, on Cheshire Street, according to police.
“Upon arrival, a deceased person was located,” police wrote in a news release. “While it does not appear there is any suspicious activity with relation to the deceased person, the investigation is on-going.
