Car Catches Fire While Traveling Down West Street In Danbury: DFD
Occupants of the car were able to park it, get out uninjured, and call for help.
DANBURY, CT — Members of the Danbury Fire Department extinguished a car fire Wednesday night.
The car caught fire as it traveled down West Street, according to the DFD. Its occupants were able to park the car, get out uninjured, and call for help. Firefighters arrived quickly and put out the fire.
The Danbury Police Department closed the road for about 40 minutes, while members of the city's Public Works Department sanded and salted the road.
