Danbury Child Missing, Silver Alert Issued

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Danbury child.

Danbury police said Jonathan Martinez, 16, has been missing since Nov. 9.

Martinez is white, with brown eyes and hair. He is 5-foot-11-inches and weighes 190 pounds.

The clothing he was wearing is not known.

According to the State of Connecticut, a Silver Alert is an alert system for persons who are under the age of 18 but do not meet the criteria of an Amber, adult persons with a mental impairment or medical condition and any person over the age of 65.
